=== Three-Headed Monkey ===
In January 2024, Rob revealed the existence of a three-headed monkey on Monaco. This is a reference to the creature of the same name from the [[wikipedia:Monkey_Island|Monkey Island]] video-game series. Rob has eluded to it being found behind the player via a mirror or similar; a nod at Guybrush Threepwood's line "look behind you, a three-headed monkey!" from the original games. On March 1st at 9:57 PM (Swedish time) Rob shared that the monkey was visible on all arenas for the next 132 minutes; this ended about 2 hours later at 12:07 AM. The next day, Rob suggested that the monkey's appearances are related to the time of day, weather, and something astronomical.

There are several easter eggs hidden in THE FINALS itself, some found and some still undiscovered.
The day before Closed Beta 1 went live, content creators were able to post footage from an event. Creators mentioned the view from the top of the crane in Seoul, and Rob commented “you can see a WR from there.... ._.” and “just something for you to follow..!”.
These were the first clues that there was something to find in the Closed Beta. Rob also confirmed “these are linked to the lore and to the future… ._.”
At the end of Closed Beta 2, Rob posted the following summary:
- WR: 2/5
- Graffiti: 2/5
- Lore messages: 1/10
- Trailer Clues: 0/6
- In Game EE's: 1/XXX
Pretty good I must say ALMOST 20%... Really hope all of you enjoyed CB2..!
On October 25th, the day that the Open Beta was announced, Rob posted the following message in the easter eggs channel in the official Discord:
BTW - remember that we will run an OPEN Beta tomorrow... that means that it is allowed to hide real important things in there since EVERYONE can join... GLHF.!
More in-game easter eggs have been added with the release of the game and each season. Some are required to unlock further stages of THE FINALS Easter Egg Hunt.

S Lies
edit edit sourceOn June 16th, during CB2, a message was found by hunter TheSkyFox. It is hidden behind a destructible wall under the crane in Monaco. The message reads "S Lies". The message is in an orange, pixel-styled text. It's exact meaning is unknown, but its is related to the lore of THE FINALS and is likely a message from CNS.

SR's Sprays
edit edit sourceDuring CB2 on June 15th, veteran EE hunter Serpenger spotted a graffiti-style message on Monaco that read: "SR.!" This is a reference to a meme that was created by THE FINALS Easter Egg community, where the creator of TFEE Rob Runesson is affectionately known as Saint Rob, commonly abbreviated as SR.
After a screenshot of the message was posted in THE FINALS Discord by Serpenger, Rob replied to the image and posted "NICE.! If you find more graffiti with this style… well I guess you know who put them there.!" The hunters now knew that there would be more sprays hidden on the Monaco arena, with messages from SR relating to the current tier of the hunt, Tier 1-E.
On June 18th, only three days after the first SR spray was found, expert hunter fishxw spotted another graffiti message behind a destructible wall near the Monaco crane: "825c". Since the style was the same as the first SR spray, the hunters knew that it must be a clue for the current tier of the hunt.
Under an hour later, hunter Flex4d made a connection: 825 degrees Celsius was the melting point of Aragonite, a crystallized form of calcium carbonate. This breakthrough, confirmed by Rob, was the start of a cascade of connections and revitalization of the hunt. This event eventually led to the password being solved on July 1st after a huge effort by many hunters.
Rob mentioned in this CB2 summary that only 2/5 graffiti locations were found, implying that there were 3 more to find. Later, at the end of Season 1, Rob stated "There are like 11" in conversation about Monaco's graffiti, and that more graffiti may be added with each update.

Three-Headed Monkey
edit edit sourceIn January 2024, Rob revealed the existence of a three-headed monkey on Monaco. This is a reference to the creature of the same name from the Monkey Island video-game series. Rob has eluded to it being found behind the player via a mirror or similar; a nod at Guybrush Threepwood's line "look behind you, a three-headed monkey!" from the original games. Rob has offered a THE FINALS mouse pad to whoever finds the monkey first.
“They seem to be really shy and extremely hard to spot, I don't think more than 2-3 people ever managed to spot them, and even more interesting, no one have ever managed to record or capture a single screenshot of any monkeys... but we are at lest 2 people that swear that they have seen a monkey... there seem to be some link between TOD, weather or some other astronomical link... White Rabbits (WR)
edit edit sourceOn March 7th, a white rabbit was found on the VEIN sign on the Seoul arena by Grizzy. It is best seen in spectator mode and it's located on the outside of the building. Contestants can stand on top of the sign, and destroy the sign too.
On March 11th Rob posted “1 WR found in seoul 5 days… I was thinking 2.8 days per WR would be more than enough…”. As the beta was running for 14 days this meant there were 5 white rabbits to be found, he also confirmed this was only on the Seoul arena. On March 12th Rob confirmed that the WR’s will stay in the game after the beta. Rob has also alluded to the meaning of these white rabbits, restating that they relate directly to THE FINALS lore: "i.e. the white rabbits in the Closed Betas are actual THE FINALS lore..."
On June 17th, during the second Closed Beta, another WR was found in Seoul by hunter fishxw. It is located on the south side of one of the ground-floor escalators in the Mall. The location of this WR was actually hinted at on June 13th, where Rob confirmed in a message that there are additional WRs to be found in CB2 and posted a picture of a computer screen with a closeup of a WR.
On January 13th, 2024, the third WR was found by hunter frösty. It is located on the back of a spotlight on the roof of the apartment building. Later in the month, Rob hinted at a "shy" WR being located behind some barrels. He also hinted at a "long IRL lore story" behind the WR's, and revealed that they were added to the game to honor Dusty, who'd drawn a white rabbit on his birthday card.
On February 15th, a fourth WR was found by hunter Speary. It is located under the stairs outside of the Data Center. This was the White Rabbit that Rob hinted at being "behind some barrels." It was also discovered that a meaning of the S LIES message in Monaco is an acronym for the locations for White Rabbits (confirmed by Rob):

Skyway Stadium
edit edit sourceThe easter eggs in Skyway Stadium are:
Office Whiteboards
edit edit sourceIn the office building section of the Skyway Stadium arena, there are whiteboards with writing on them. Two different boards have been found, each with their own unique writing. Each board has a small red grid on the right side, and when these grids are combined they create the format for a guitar chord (G6). There is also a small THE FINALS logo written on the second board. The other drawings still have unknown meanings.

J. BRALLAN Statue
edit edit sourceIn Skyway Stadium, there is a statue in the mansion area that resembles a statue that is present in the Monaco arena. This statue has a plaque in front of it that reads "INVITATION J. BRALLAN 1986." After some speculation in the easter eggs Discord channel, Rob said, "You will NEVER get that reference… it’s not part of this EE-hunt, not even part of the lore (sry Spear), it’s just a game dev EE…"

Blood Moon
edit edit sourceIn certain matches the moon above Skyway Stadium becomes red, resembling the Moon's appearance during a total lunar eclipse (also known as a blood moon). Rob has hinted that this involves the total lunar eclipse of June 2029.

Las Vegas
edit edit sourceThe easter eggs in Las Vegas are:
Money Flies
edit edit sourceOn the Las Vegas arena, there are fly swarms around various trash bags and dumpsters. Upon closer inspection these "flies" are actually small dollar bills with wings. It uses the same sprite as the "Easy Come, Easy Go" emoticon from the Season 1 Battle Pass.

Las Vegas Sphere
edit edit sourceThe Las Vegas Sphere can be seen in the far distance.
Death By Rhodent
edit edit sourceThere are two posters advertising a metal band called "Death By Rhodent" near the edge of the arena. The band can be heard faintly playing a song on the other side of the wall, with the words "Hey! We are Death By Rhodent, all the way from Sweden, this one is called - DOMINATE!" audible before the band starts playing. This is likely an inside reference to one or more members of Embark, as they are a Sweden-based studio.
Vegas Graffiti
edit edit sourceVarious different graffiti tags can be found on the walls in the arena.

Rob's Wrist Wraps
edit edit sourceIn the center section of the arena, a few small kiosks can be found, including one named Rob's Wrist Wraps, which is likely a reference to Embark's Creative Content Officer and Easter Egg mastermind Rob Runesson.
Parking Garage Numbers
edit edit sourceMysterious numbers are etched into the concrete walls of the parking garage, which seem to be some sort of measurements with initials next to them.
-
4-'7'/8" TL or 4' 7⅛" TL

3' 3/4" BB or 3' 1¾" BB
SYS$HORIZON
edit edit sourceThe easter eggs in Horizon are:
Cornell Box
edit edit sourceOne of the rooms on Horizon is modeled after a Cornell Box, which are used to test realistic 3D rendering.
Practice Range
edit edit sourceThe easter eggs in the Practice Range are:
The Fine Finals
edit edit sourceOn the bottom of the cashbox target rings, there is text that says "THE FINE FINALS" instead of the usual "THE FINALS."
5 Roses
edit edit sourceIn the park, near the bench, there are five roses. Rob has confirmed that they are for an easter egg.
Other
edit edit sourceBracelet Numerals
edit edit sourceOn June 16th, Joshnut found another easter egg, this time on an in-game cosmetic. On the gloves with the wristbands, there are small Roman numerals engraved on the silver bracelet. These decode into a series of numbers as follows: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 11, 7, 6, 3, 9, 2, 4, 3, 7, 11, 5, 3, 1, 11. The meaning of these numbers is still unknown. Rob reacted to this image, confirming it's importance.

Rob's Signature
edit edit sourceIn the "Bases Loaded" bundle, there is a baseball charm called the "Stolen Base" with the description, "Rob your opponents of victory.!" There is a signature "Rob R." on the baseball charm belonging to Rob Runesson (also known as SR), an Embark co-founder and creator of the TFEE. The description has two clues to the signature on the ball, "Rob your opponents..." and ".!" which is commonly used by Rob in his messages.

Door Sound Effects
edit edit sourceWhen opening a door by sprinting into it, there is a small chance to hear a chicken "cluck" sound effect. This is a reference to an Easter Egg of the same nature in the Battlefield franchise, as many ex-DICE devs have worked on THE FINALS.
