Where the flock resides - Embark Asylum

The "Church of The Holy Hunters" is a group of Easter egg hunters belonging to the lore of the official THE FINALS Discord server. It originally stemmed from people calling Embark Studios CCO Rob Runesson "Saint Rob" based on his "SR" signature, but eventually grew into involving multiple members of the Embark team. Saint Praying Circle

The praying circle depicts an egg (namely Nama Tama) in the center, symbolizing new life or rebirth, surrounded by five candles arranged in the shape of a pentagram. Praying circles are used to attract new findings or presence from clue-givers such as Saint Rob.

At the corners of each praying circle are two letters: on the left side S, to represent "Saint", and on the right side the initial of the saint you wish to honor. Examples are "SR" for Saint Rob, "SD" for Saint Dusty or "SE" for Saint Esbjorn.

The praying circle was first used by Giriko on October 2022.

Saint Rob

Rob - The Patron Saint of Easter Egg Hunters & Lost Time

Rob Runesson, affectionately known as Saint Rob by members of the hunter community, is the mastermind behind THE FINALS Easter Egg Hunt (TFEE) and most other Easter eggs in the game. He previously worked on the elaborate Easter egg projects of various Battlefield titles, such as the Phantom Program and Peacekeeper Chain.

The Saint Rob, or SR meme started in late 2022, when Rob posted "soon... ._." in response to Oak asking for more EEs, and Snowblind realized that ... .-. translates to SR. But it didn't get that much attention until hunter Serpenger asked Rob a month later if SR stood for Saint Rob. There are multiple times where rob has acknowledged the meme both directly and indirectly.

Saint Dusty

Dusty - Patron Saint of Easter Egg Hunters & Enigmatic Clues

Saint Dusty is the co-conspirator of Saint Rob and oversees the EE. She hails from the United States of America but can be found in Sweden for some time now!

Dusty drew the original white rabbit on a birthday card for Rob, which he later added to the game. The white rabbit (WR) Easter egg became integral to activating Level 3 of TFEE. There is also a Dusty graffiti hidden somewhere in the game that hunters are yet to find.

Saint Esbjorn

Esbjorn - Patron Saint of Artistic License

Esbjorn Nord (loosely translated: Godly bear of the North), also known as Esse, hailed upon us many moons ago. He is known as the Patron of Artistic License, but more importantly, he is a concept artist with a wide variety of work across the years. His ArtStation shows his talent was previously well utilized, and it seems that his adventure at Embark has only reaffirmed his talent to all of his fanbase (and beyond).

TFEE Omelette Showdown

Easter egg hunters' THE FINALS tournament, AKA Omelette Showdown, is a private tournament organized by hunters Beanmilk and Dread.

The first tournament (TFEEOS #0) was held with 18 hunters from around the world at CEST 12AM Sunday / EST 6PM Saturday, April 13–14, 2024, and was sponsored by THE FINALS Season 2 sponsors, VAIIYA and OSPUZE. Similar to THE FINALS Season 0, this tournament was used to gain feedback and prepare for a larger tournament.
