The CL-40 deals high damage on direct hits, and a small amount of splash damage to surrounding objects, opponents, and the user. The explosions have destructive capability.

Unlike other weapons, this grenade launcher reloads with single cartridges rather than a normal magazine.
The trigger can be pulled to fire a grenade projectile that explodes upon impact, dealing damage to nearby opponents. The trigger must be released before firing again. The explosion also deals 1.25x more damage to its user if they are too close.


== PROS AND CONS ==
The secondary trigger can be used to zoom in slightly, though this does not affect the CL-40's accuracy. Its accuracy also remains stable while moving, but decreases slightly when going airborne.
The CL-40 is an impact grenade launcher, which excels in confined passageways and corridors where the enemy will struggle to get out of its blast radius. It can take on multiple opponents at once and cause general chaos for whoever is on the receiving end. The CL-40 is an excellent tool for those contestants who value destruction and mayhem above all else.  


However, the CL-40 requires a high degree of skill and planning to truly excel in its role. If the user fails to keep their distance from their opponents, they may find themselves on the receiving end of their splash damage.  
The CL-40 reloads by inserting one round at a time, making its reload very slow. However, the reload can be interrupted before the magazine is full to reload fewer rounds. The reload can be cancelled by firing, using quick melee, or switching weapons.

The CL-40 (China Lake Model Pump 40mm) is a Medium class grenade launcher designed to reliably damage opponents at a close distance thanks to its high area damage.

The CL-40 can be selected as the weapon of any Medium build loadout.

The trigger can be pulled to fire a grenade projectile that explodes upon impact, dealing damage to nearby opponents. The trigger must be released before firing again. The explosion also deals 1.25x more damage to its user if they are too close.
