The Defibrillator is a gadget available to the [[Builds#Medium Build|Medium Build]] that instantly triggers the revival of a teammate.
The [[Defibrillator]] is a [[Medium]] class gadget that can revive a downed teammate automatically instead of needing to do so manually.
==Overview==
Upon use, the Defibrillator instantly triggers the revival of the teammate it was used on. Teammates are revived with 50% of their maximum health. Activating the Defibrillator on an enemy contestant will deal 50 damage. The charge-up time is 0.8s.  


A contestant that is revived with the Defibrillator will gradually re-materialize into the level over a period of 3s before fully loading back into the arena. During this time, the contestant is invulnerable.

The Defibrillator can be deployed by preparing it and then activating it on a revive statue. This will create a revive in process that cannot be interrupted. After a few seconds, the teammate will be revived at that location. They will be invulnerable for a few moments after reviving.
The Defibrillator's main strength is the amount of time it saves to revive a teammate whilst in combat. This ability can change the outcome of a fight drastically, but the revived contestant must play carefully to avoid being quickly eliminated due to their lowered health.


The Defibrillator has strong synergy with the [[Healing Beam]] specialization, as a teammate can be revived and then quickly healed to 100% health. The revived ally will stay invulnerable for exactly 0.75 seconds.
It is also possible to use the Defibrillator on an opponent to deal 50 damage to them.

The Defibrillator can be selected as one of three [[Gadgets|gadgets]] of any [[Medium]] build loadout. The gadget (together with the [[Healing Beam]]) is specifically unavailable in [[Terminal Attack]] matches.
Holding the primary trigger will prepare an activation of the defibrillator. Upon release, the user must be facing a revive statue to revive it.
