The Throwing Knives are a medium to short range weapon for the Light Build.

Overview

The Throwing Knives have high damage but slow fire rate. It is best used for picking off targets at medium to short ranges. Using primary fire will throw two knives in quick succession, while using secondary fire will throw a pair of knives at the same time after a long windup.

PROS AND CONS

The throwing knives are a semi-reliable, semi-automatic weapon with high damage and an infinite magazine size. Their biggest weakness is the slow fire rate, but overall this weapon has a very specific, but very rewarding play style.

Play Style

The Throwing knives benefit from a ambush playstyle, remember, never take fair fights as light. This ambush playstyle is best supported by the cloaking device. This a because the cloaking device allows for the user to sneak up on their enemies and kill them. This is aided by two techniques.

1 | Cloaking device And Alt fire

The Cloaking device can be paired with the alt fire of the throwing knives in such a way in which the knives are thrown in cloak. This is done by Starting the Alt Fire Animation (AFA) And then cloaking. In this short period of time, your charging your AFA while in cloak.

2 | Animation Cancel

The AFA is quite long, thus the Throwing Knives Benefit Greatly from an animation cancel. You Can animation cancel by switching to another one of your gadgets after the knives are thrown.
