The Recurve Bow is a high-skill, medium- to long-ranged bow that shoots arrows in a curved arc. Its range and damage increase the further back the bowstring has been drawn. This weapon offers a middle ground between the LH1 marksman rifle and the SR-84 sniper rifle. It lacks the firing speed and consistency of the LH1, but is more versatile and dynamic than the SR-84. Using secondary fire will zoom in on the user's crosshair, allowing for easier long-range combat.
The Recurve Bow is a Light class marksman weapon with the unique ability to charge its shots, designed to either deal high damage per shot over a long distance, or to fire more quickly at a lower velocity.

Draw Length
Usage
The Recurve Bow has a unique mechanic: the longer the primary fire button is held, the longer the range and the higher the damage of the arrow. Full draw takes 1.25 seconds to reach, but the arrow can be shot at any time before then, where damage and range of the arrow scales linearly with draw time.

Pros and Cons
The Recurve Bow can be selected as the weapon of any Light build loadout.

Pros:
The trigger can be held down to prepare an arrow and draw back the string, which charges up its power over time. The maximum power is reached after charging for 1.25 seconds, at which point the string can be held down for any duration. The user cannot sprint while drawing an arrow.

* Capable of high damage at long range
Once the Recurve Bow has been charged up for at least a short moment, the trigger can be released to fire one arrow that damages an opponent, dealing damage based on its charge time and also dealing additional damage on headshots.
* Dynamic and can be effective at nearly any range

Cons:
The secondary trigger can be used to zoom in slightly, though this does not affect the Recurve Bow's accuracy. Its accuracy also remains stable while moving and going airborne.

* Requires high precision to be effective
The weapon has infinite ammunition and does not need to reload.
* Slow firing time

* The name Recurve Bow refers to the shape of the bow, where the end of the limbs "re-curve" away from the user. This results in the arrow having more speed than from a bow with traditional limb curvature, such as a longbow.

Playstyle
The variable draw length of the Recurve Bow allows it to be a versatile weapon in the arena. It can fill the role of a sniper with a precise, long-drawn shot, or allow the user to be more aggressive and fire volleys of low-damage arrows at short range.

The Recurve Bow is a Light class marksman weapon with the unique ability to charge its shots, designed to either deal high damage per shot over a long distance, or to fire more quickly at a lower velocity.

Usage

The Recurve Bow can be selected as the weapon of any Light build loadout.

The trigger can be held down to prepare an arrow and draw back the string, which charges up its power over time. The maximum power is reached after charging for 1.25 seconds, at which point the string can be held down for any duration. The user cannot sprint while drawing an arrow.

Once the Recurve Bow has been charged up for at least a short moment, the trigger can be released to fire one arrow that damages an opponent, dealing damage based on its charge time and also dealing additional damage on headshots.

The secondary trigger can be used to zoom in slightly, though this does not affect the Recurve Bow's accuracy. Its accuracy also remains stable while moving and going airborne.

The weapon has infinite ammunition and does not need to reload.
