The Anti-Gravity Cube is a Heavy class thrown gadget that creates a cylindrical area in which contestants and other objects start levitating.

Usage

The Anti-Gravity Cube can be selected as one of three gadgets of any Heavy build loadout.

Holding the primary trigger will prepare a high-velocity overhand throw. Holding the secondary trigger will prepare a low-velocity underhand throw. While preparing a throw, the gadget's trajectory is indicated up to the point where it triggers on impact. Releasing the trigger will execute the throw, whereas swapping to a different item will cancel it.

Stats

Effects

The Anti-Gravity Cube can be thrown, and when it hits the ground, it creates a large cylindrical area (7 meters in radius and 12 meters tall) that rises upwards from the gadget. This area moves along with the cube and can pass through surfaces.

Contestants and objects inside this area will levitate and slowly rise upwards until they reach the maximum height of the gadget's range. Even the Cashout Station can be lifted and moved by this effect.

Properties

Gadget

Grenade — Can be thrown like a grenade, meaning overhand or underhand. The trajectory and impact point are shown as an indicator.

Single Charge — Can be used once, then recharges automatically over the cooldown time.

Not Retrievable — Cannot be picked up after being deployed.

Projectile

Projectile — Gets affected by gravity and has a travel time.

Bounce — Bounces away when the projectile collides with a surface or contestant.

Trigger on Impact — Can fly for any amount of time and triggers when the projectile collides with a surface or contestant.

Interceptible — Can be removed by the APS Turret, nullifying its effects. This causes the turret to lose some health.

Destructible — Can be destroyed if its health is fully depleted, such as through hits from bullets or explosions. Teammates can also destroy it.

Reshapeable — Can be reshaped by the Data Reshaper into a piece of decor by opponents.

Sound Cue — Produces a sound whenever it teleports something, alerting nearby contestants.

Usable by Opponents — Can be used by opponents to their advantage.

Movement — Provides a special mode of transport for contestants. Also works for moving projectiles and objects.

Not Damaging — Hitting a contestant directly with the projectile does not deal damage.

Not Glitchable — Cannot be disabled by a Glitch Grenade or Glitch Barrel.

Not Damaging — Does not inflict damage.

Guide

Strengths

  • The Anti-Gravity Cube can lift the Cashout Station, making it easier to defend - or in some situations, easier to steal.

Item Mastery

Item mastery XP for the Anti-Gravity Cube can be earned solely by deploying it.

Each time a certain XP threshold is reached, the item levels up. This does not improve the item, but rewards a unique item customization.
