Overview:

The M60 is an American general-purpose machine gun. It fires 7.62×51mm NATO cartridges from a disintegrating belt.

First Appearance:

The M60 was the first weapon shown in a video about THE FINALS, appearing in the game teaser released via Twitter in November 2021.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Where the M60 lacks in handling, it has a very sizeable magazine size to suppress enemies. This LMG has considerable damage, but lacks the controllability over longer ranges and is most at home in close range combat and inside buildings where enemies cannot retreat easily. Overall this is the most versatile weapon in the Heavy's arsenal and with the right teamwork it could also be considered the most reliable, though, similar to the AKM, it is a jack-of-all-trades, master of none.
