The AKM is the standard assault rifle of the Medium Build.

Overview

The AKM deals lower damage (260 dps -> 205 dps) and has stronger recoil compared to the FCAR, but it offers a bigger magazine. It's the preferred weapon of most Medium Builds, with an almost twice as big magazine (20 rounds -> 36 rounds), a slightly faster fire rate (10.0 rps -> ~10.28 rps) and a longer firing time (2.0 s -> 3.5 s) than the FCAR.

Pros and Cons

The AKM can fit into a variety of playstyles within the Medium Class. Its high fire rate and sizeable magazine makes it useful for putting out consistent damage, able to partake in both aggressive skirmishes or defensive play.

The main downsides of the AKM are its high recoil and damage falloff at long range.
