The Throwing Knives are a medium to short range weapon for the Light Build.

Overview

The Throwing Knives have high damage but slow fire rate. It is best used for picking off targets at medium to short ranges. Using primary fire will throw two knives in quick succession, while using secondary fire will throw a pair of knives at the same time after a long windup. The Throwing Knives are fully automatic, and holding either fire mode will cause them to continually fire as fast as possible, but using them in this way is not typically recommended.

The Throwing Knives benefit from an ambush playstyle. This ambush playstyle is best supported by the Cloaking Device since it allows the user to sneak up on their enemies and have the upper hand in combat.

The Cloaking Device can be paired with the alt-fire of the Throwing Knives by allowing knives to be thrown while cloaked. This is done by starting the alt-fire animation, and then cloaking. In this short period, the alt-fire animation charges while cloaked.

Pros and Cons

The Throwing Knives are a semi-reliable, low fire rate weapon with high damage and an infinite magazine size.

Their biggest weakness is the slow fire rate, but overall this weapon has a very specific, but very rewarding play style.
