The S1 Lore Vignette (aka "Writing on the Wall") intro video was introduced after Hotfix 1.6.1 on February 2nd, 2024. It only played the first time and that the game was loaded after the patch. The video is a recording of a conversation between Scotty and June after a match has ended. Although not directly stated, the video most likely related to the hacking group called CNS.
Scotty: "It's lights out in the arena. From all of us here at THE FINALS, thanks for watching!"
June: "Aaand we're out"
Scotty: "Time for an OSPUZE Pro Juice!"
June: "You actually drink those?
Scotty: "Wouldn't want Sofia to hear you say that."
June: "Oh, she has enough on her plate with the recent hacks, trust me"
Scotty: "They're not hacks, June. They're glitches. Besides, HOLTOW's not worried."
