Deposit stations are objects that appear in the arena periodically during Bank-It rounds, where they replace the usual cashout stations. Deposit stations are used by contestants to secure any coins they are carrying for their team.

Overview

Deposit stations share all the physical attributes of cashout stations. They are indestructible and cannot be moved easily other than having them fall down.

Deposit stations spawn at a random location in the arena and last for 90 seconds. After the first 90 seconds of a round, the number of cashout stations in the arena remains constant.

Game mode Spawn interval Max. number of stations
Team Bank-It 45s 2
Solo Bank-It 30s 3

There are a few dozen fixed locations per arena where a deposit station can appear.

Usage

If a contestant is holding any cash from coins they picked up, they can interact with a deposit station for a few seconds to deposit the cash and add it to their team's total, effectively preventing the cash from being lost.

When a team finishes depositing enough cash to reach the victory threshold, they win the game.

Each deposit station is identified by a letter on its indicator. This letter loops from A to D with every 4 spawns. Contestants can aim their pings at the indicator, which will place the ping at the location of the deposit station.

Strategy

  • It is possible to wait near a deposit station for an opponent looking to deposit their cash, to then ambush them and steal their coins.
    • This works best in solo variations of Bank-It, as individual contestants can't be covered by their teammates.
  • When holding a lot of cash, it may be safest to wait for a new deposit station to spawn as it will be less contested.
  • Before depositing, contestants should position themselves relatively to the deposit station in such a way that it will provide them with the most cover from a potential enemy arrival while making a deposit.

Trivia

  • The design of the deposit station's interface is based on the ATM, though the usual PIN pad is replaced by a single slot to insert coins into.
  • While depositing, the display shows an animation of Nama Tama giving a thumbs up.
