Overview

The Goo Grenade is a thrown gadget which detonates on impact, deploying a wall of Goo.

Upon first impact, the grenade will deploy into a wall of goo that can be destroyed.

Gadgets that can be thrown a long distance use an aiming mechanic. Using the gadget arms it, preparing it to be thrown. A blue line indicates the trajectory of the projectile up until the first impact.

When the button is released, the gadget is either thrown overhand (long distance, high velocity) or underhand (short distance, low velocity).

The throw can be cancelled by swapping to a different equipment slot.

• The Goo Grenade is a highly versatile equipment item that provides unique utility for positioning and creating cover.
• When a contestant is about to fall out of bounds, they can throw a Goo Grenade at their feet towards the nearest wall and the Goo will catch them, giving them the opportunity to use a movement ability to return to the arena.
