OVERVIEW
The Riot Shield is the exclusive melee option of the Medium combining a bulletproof ballistic shield and a riot baton. Whilst guarding with the shield, the wielder is almost entirely protected from the front, with only their feet exposed. However this can also be covered if the wielder crouches down. baton can be used to club down the opponent. In the current meta (CB 2023) the Riot Shield is considered the least viable melee option of all the builds.
PROS AND CONS
The Riot Shield's strength solely consists out of the blocking potential and the crowd controlling that it brings. It is very weak against other melee weapons such as the Sledgehammer and Sword, whilst also not protecting against a backstab nor explosives.
