Submachine gun, or SMG, is a type of automatic gun that usually has a fast fire rate and strong recoil. SMGs also tend to be smaller in size. The two current SMGs in the game are only for the light class. Both are based on real gun models. The M11 is based on the MAC-11 submachine gun, and the XP-54 on the MP5 submachine gun respectively.
